Leeds United lost to Hull City at the weekend and will face Nottingham Forest on New Year’s Day.

The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Championship on New Year’s Day.
Leeds will head into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Hull City at Elland Road in the league.
Forward Bamford has a knee injury and so has defender Cooper, and Leeds head coach Bielsa does not expect them to be available for the match against Forest, which is further bad news for the fans.

Bouncing back
The defeat to Hull at Elland Road will have come as a bitter disappointment to Leeds, who have been in a great run of form until the weekend.
Forest are not in very good form at the moment and are not playing particularly well, but it is going to be hard for the Whites to pick up maximum points at the City Ground.
However, Leeds have some of the best players in the Championship, and the Whites have shown this season that they can bounce back after a disappointing result.
