Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Diego Llorente is upset after picking up another injury last night.
Llorente has endured a tough spell after signing for Leeds in the summer, as he has not been able to stay off the treatment table.
The Spaniard has constantly struggled with injury, and for the second time his comeback game has had to be cut short.
Llorente was drafted into Leeds’ starting line-up against Newcastle United yesterday, after training with them all week and excelling in an under-23 match.
But the 27-year-old could not even last for 10 minutes, before he went down clutching his hamstring.
Llorente now faces another spell on the sidelines, with the Athletic reporting that he will be out for a ‘few weeks’.

And Bielsa said: “He has a similar problem to the one he had before. It’s a problem for him, for us, for all of us. In this moment, what worries me is Diego’s state of mind, given the succession of injuries he has had. It’s natural that he’s sad because of this now and we share that sadness.”
Llorente’s injury is a tough blow to Leeds, as it leaves their options in defence once again looking short.
Pascal Struijk was introduced last night to replace Llorente, but he is more comfortable in midfield than in the heart of defence.
Even with the disruption to their backline, Leeds were still able to win 2-1 yesterday, thanks to goals from Raphinha and Jack Harrison.
