According to El Intransigente, Marcelo Bielsa wants Leeds United to continue to monitor Argentina international centre-forward Adolfo Gaich.

The 21-year-old centre-forward joined CSKA Moscow from San Lorenzo earlier in the summer transfer window.

The report has added that Leeds head coach Bielsa remains keen on his Argentine compatriot, who has a release clause of €30 million (£27.67 million).

The report has quoted the youngster as saying that “it would be very nice to play in the Premier League” and that it “is a dream to play” in England.

Sensible plan?

Leeds could do with a new striker this summer, despite the signing of Rodrigo, who is not very prolific and can also play as a winger.

Gaich has a lot of potential, and the Argentine could end up in the Premier League in the coming years.

Bielsa reportedly being keen on his Argentine compatriot shows just how good he is, and it would make sense for Leeds to keep tabs on him.

While it is unlikely that CSKA will sell the 21-year-old in the January transfer window, the Russian club could be open to an exit next summer.
