Leeds United got back to winning ways this week, beating Newcastle 2-1 on Tuesday evening at St James’ Park.
Leeds may have recently laid a new pitch at Elland Road, but they don’t get the pleasure of playing on the fresh surface this weekend as they head to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.
The Whites will be looking to extract revenge on the Foxes after losing 4-1 to Brendan Rodgers’ side at Elland Road earlier this campaign.
Of course, if Marcelo Bielsa is going to mastermind a win over the Foxes, he needs to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting their starting XI for this one.
We think that Bielsa will go for largely the same team that started against Newcastle with only one change made.
We think that Mateusz Klich will come in for the injured Diego Llorente, which will then spark a rejig of the defence, with Stuart Dallas moving to right-back and Luke Ayling moving across to cover for the absence of Llorente.
Bielsa isn’t one to chop and change his teams, especially coming off the back of a win, but unfortunately, Llorente can’t play this one, so we’re going to see a change.
Aside from that, it’s the same side we saw against Newcastle.
Jack Harrison and Raphinha retain their spots after scoring against the Magpies, while Patrick Bamford keeps his place despite being subbed off on the hour mark against the Tyneside outfit.
This should certainly be an intriguing battle between two attacking sides.
