Leeds United face another tough test this weekend as they head to Merseyside to play a high-flying Everton side.

The Toffees have had a brilliant start to the season, and after their 3-2 win against Fulham last week they sit sixth in the table.

However, Leeds have proven this season that they’re able to take points off of the top teams, drawing with both Arsenal and Manchester City in recent weeks.

Marcelo Bielsa vs Carlo Ancelotti is bound to be an intriguing tactical battle, but if Bielsa is to come out on top he needs to get his team selection spot on.

We’ve had a go at predicting how Leeds will line-up for this weekend’s game.

Leeds' predicted starting XI against Everton

We don’t think the Whites will change too much as they prepare to face Everton.

Leeds put in a good account of themselves against Arsenal, so there’s no reason to think they’ll make wholesale changes after their 0-0 draw with the Gunners.

The back five is filled with players who played against Arsenal, but there is a slight change as Stuart Dallas moves back to left-back after starting in the midfield last weekend.

Aside from that, it’s a similar looking defensive unit with Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Robin Koch and Liam Cooper retaining their spots.

We think Leeds will recall Rodrigo into their midfield for the clash with Everton, after Noel Whelan called for him to be put back into the team.

The Spaniard wasn’t fully fit to start against Arsenal, but he looked electric off the bench, almost earning Leeds a victory by striking the crossbar late on.

Raphinha also gets the nod ahead of Helder Costa again this one, with the 23-year-old being handed his second start of the season.

Kalvin Phillips, Jack Harrison and Mateusz Klich complete the midfield.

Meanwhile, Patrick Bamford once again starts up top.
