Leeds United haven’t been in the best of form as of late, and after back to back 3-0 losses against Tottenham Hotspur and Crawley Town, they will want to get back to winning ways vs Brighton this weekend.
The Seagulls are in real danger of dropping into the bottom three, so they will be bang up for this one, and despite their lowly league position, Graham Potter’s side play some good football.
Leeds will be hoping to get a win here, but in order to do that Marcelo Bielsa needs to get his team selection spot on.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting how Leeds will line up against Brighton.
We expect Bielsa to make a massive seven changes from the side that lost to Crawley last week.
The team against Crawley was heavily rotated, so it’s no surprise to see changes for this one.
Kiko Casilla again made headlines for a poor performance over the weekend, so we expect Bielsa to reinstate Illan Meslier for this clash, while the back four is the same as we’ve come accustomed to seeing in recent weeks, meaning there’s no spot for Diego Llorente, despite the fact that he’s been back in training this week.
Pascal Struijk steps into the midfield after Kalvin Phillips’ fifth yellow card of the season ruled him out of this clash, while the quartet in front of Struijk is a more familiar sight, with Pablo Hernandez being relegated back to the bench after he got a start against Crawley.
