Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Sky Sports, during their live Super Sunday coverage, that Mateusz Klich played with an injury against Arsenal.
Leeds were beaten 4-2 by Arsenal yesterday, with Klich not having his most impactful game in the centre of the pitch.
However, the reasons for that became clear at half-time, when Bielsa said that Klich made himself available despite suffering with a knock.
“Two halves were very different. Generous of Klich to play today – he wasn’t at 100%,” Bielsa said.
Klich’s availability will come as little surprise to Leeds fans, as his injury record is hugely impressive.
The Polish international has barely missed a game with a fitness problem throughout his time at Elland Road, and that run continued yesterday.

Leeds will hope that Klich’s problem, which Phil Hay has reported is with his hip in the Athletic, eases in the coming days.
Leeds are already dealing with Kalvin Phillips being out, and they will not want another of their first-choice midfielders to be sidelined for any significant period of time.
