Some Sheffield United fans are reacting on Twitter to reports Aston Villa want yet another of their alleged summer targets.
United and Villa have been credited with an interest in a number of the same players since the end of last season, with the Villans’ latest recruit, Matty Cash, perhaps the most prominent.
And on Monday afternoon, The Telegraph claimed that the two sides are among those chasing the Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster, who was first linked with the Blades weeks ago.
Sheffield United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are all said to be hopeful that Brewster ‘could be available on the market for a loan fee or a permanent deal worth more than £20 million’.

And the following United supporters are neither shocked nor amused by the rumour…
The signing of a new striker could be the final item left on Chris Wilder’s agenda, with the Sheffield United manager expected to add Ethan Ampadu and Oliver Burke to the Monday night captures of Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe shortly.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have lost out to Newcastle United in their pursuit of Callum Wilson, while reports claim they are fighting hard with Tottenham Hotspur to land Ollie Watkins from Brentford.
