The Swansea City centre-back has been linked with moves to West Ham United, Southampton and Watford.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium this month, with West Ham reportedly leading the race to sign the £25 million rated centre-back, according to the Sun.
SkyBET believe that Watford have stolen a march on their rivals, however, listing the Hertfordshire outfit as 7/4 favourites in the race to sign Mawson, ahead of the Hammers at 6/1 and Southampton at 8/1.
It would be a real coup for the Hornets, if they do indeed manage to sign the Swans defender this month, and he would undoubtedly strengthen their fragile back-line.
The 40 goals conceded by Marco Silva’s side in the Premier League this season is the second worst in the division, and Mawson would bring a certain level of authority that they have been so desperately bereft off.
With the January transfer window now open this will certainly be one for Watford fans to keep a very close eye on.
