Southampton, West Ham United, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are all in contention to sign the Bristol City ace, according to the bookies.

Popular bookmakers Ladbrokes have installed the Saints as the favourites in the race to sign Robins ace Bobby Reid, ahead of the Magpies and the Baggies.
The 24-year-old, an attacking midfielder by trade, has played predominantly as a centre-forward for Bristol City this season, and has really impressed, racking up 12 goals and three assists in 26 Championship outings thus far for Lee Johnson’s side.

Reid’s fine form has been a major contributing factor behind the Robins’ successful campaign so far, and they currently sit in fourth spot in the table, with promotion to the Premier League seemingly a very real prospect.
They have also impressed in the Carabao Cup, and are still very much in their semi-final tie against Manchester City, having lost 2-1 at the Etihad after Sergio Aguero’s injury time winner for the home side.

Reid impressed once again against Pep Guardiola’s side, and his display fuelled further talk of a January exit from Aston Gate, with Ladbrokes installing Southampton as 7/4 favourites to win the race for his signature, ahead of West Ham at 2/1, Newcastle at 11/4 and West Brom at 3/1.
The lively forward would represent a decent signing for any of the aforementioned clubs, but there has been no sign as yet that Bristol City will be willing to sell one of their prized assets, although it will be interesting to see their stance on the matter, should any club come in with a substantial offer for Reid’s services.
