Huddersfield Town are leading the likes of Newcastle United and Southampton in the race to sign the Liverpool hitman, according to the bookies.

Popular bookmakers SkyBET have installed the Terriers as the new favourites in the race to sign Reds hitman Danny Ings, ahead of the likes of Newcastle, Stoke and Southampton.
The 25-year-old has suffered horrendous luck with injuries over the past 18 months, but is now back to his best physically.
His future at Anfield is far from certain, however, with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and even Daniel Sturridge well ahead of him in the striking pecking order.

Ings has proven pedigree at the very highest level, however, and would surely be a useful addition to whichever club wins the race to sign him, if he does indeed end up leaving Liverpool.
SkyBET believe that the John Smith’s Stadium could very well be the former Burnley man’s next destination, and list Huddersfield as 7/1 favourites to sign him, ahead of Newcastle at 9/1, Stoke at 16/1 and Southampton at 18/1.

The striker would be an excellent signing for the Terriers, if he can maintain his fitness of course, and he would offer David Wagner something totally different in forward areas.
With just five days remaining before the transfer window slams shut, this will certainly be one for Huddersfield fans to keep a very close eye on.
