Arsenal are rated as 10/1 contenders to sign the 33-year-old midfielder.

Sky Bet have priced Arsenal as 10-1 to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian’s future at Eastlands seems uncertain after the 33-year-old was not even named among the substitutes by manager Pep Guardiola – who previously sold him for Barcelona – in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Stoke City.
He seems likely to leave City before the transfer window shuts this month, but it remains to be seen if any club will match his huge wages.

But Sky Bet have listed Arsenal as a contender to sign him, with the Gunners quoted as 10-1 to bring the two-time Premier League champion to North London.
Inter Milan are favourites at 4-1, while Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and Any MLS Club are all behind Arsenal at 20-1. He is 1-5 to stay where he is.
Toure has been a huge player for the Citizens since his arrival in 2009 but there was damning signs of decline last season under Manuel Pellegrini.

Plus, Arsenal have already splashed £34 million on Granit Xhaka this summer and it seems unlikely that Arsene Wenger will bring in another midfielder, given how it’s arguably the Gunners’ strongest position.
Wenger – who signed Yaya’s older brother Kolo in 2002 – revealed through the club’s official website in 2014 that he had the towering midfielder on trial 13 years ago, but passport issues scuppered an official transfer.
