Everton and Liverpool have been linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The future of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains a hot topic ahead of the January transfer window, with strong links to Premier League clubs.
Aubameyang, 28, joined Dortmund from French side Saint-Etienne back in 2013, and has become one of the world’s top strikers during his time at Signal Iduna Park.
The Gabon international has racked up 140 goals in 210 games for Dortmund, terrorising defences in Germany and in Europe with his blistering pace and deadly finishing ability.
However, BILD report that Dortmund could cash in on Aubameyang in 2018, and will consider offers of around €60million (£53million) after the striker became unsettled this season.
Recent reports have suggested that a move to the Premier League could be on the cards; The Express claim that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to reunite with his former Dortmund star, whilst The Mirror believe that Everton could launch a stunning move in January as new manager Sam Allardyce chases a striker.
Now, bookmakers are pricing up odds for Aubameyang’s next club, with Ladbrokes making Liverpool the new favourites for his signature, ahead of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Reds are 6/4 favourites to sign Aubameyang, with Real now at 3/1 alongside Paris Saint-Germain, whilst Chelsea are at 2/1 and former club AC Milan 5/2.
Intriguingly, Everton are in the running at 5/1, and whilst they would have to shatter transfer record to sign him, handing Allardyce the chance to work with Aubameyang – whilst preventing Klopp from reuniting with the striker – would be a season-changing coup.
