Betting odds: Harry Kane to become PL topscorer, Alexandre Lacazette outsider

Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City stars are in the mix.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is the outright favourite to win the topscorer’s award in the Premier League next season, according to bet365.com.

According to bet365.com, the odds of Kane scoring the most number of goals in the Premier League during the 2017-18 campaign are 3/1.

The 23-year-old England international striker was the top scorer in the league last season with 29 goals.

Romelu Lukaku found the net 25 times for Everton in 2016-17, and the Belgium international striker is the second favourite to win the topscorer’s award in the English top flight next season.

The 24-year-old former Chelsea striker, who recently moved from Everton to Manchester United, is rated at 9/2 to be the top goalscorer next season.

Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus are third and fourth favourites with odds of 6/1 and 9/1 respectively, while the odds of Chelsea striker Diego Costa scoring more goals than anyone else in the Premier League next season are 10/1.

Alexandre Lacazette may have joined Arsenal from Lyon in the summer transfer window with a strong reputation, but the France international forward has not been given much chance to win the top goalscorer’s award next season.

According to bet365.com, the odds of the the 26-year-old, who cost Arsenal a transfer fee of £52.7 million according to The Guardian, top scoring in the Premier League next season are 12/1 – same as his teammate Alexis Sanchez.
