The striker’s loan stint with Sunderland has been cut short, and the bookies think that Newcastle United might be his next destination.

Popular bookmakers BETVICTOR have installed the Magpies as 6/1 outsiders in the race to sign Cherries ace Lewis Grabban, after his loan spell with Sunderland was cut short by Eddie Howe.
Rafa Benitez has made no secret of his desire to bolster his ranks at St James’ Park this month, with an established forward thought to be at the top of his wish-list.
Newcastle currently sit precariously in 13th position in the Premier League table, just two points clear of the drop zone, and an injection of experienced quality this month will be of paramount importance to their hopes of enjoying a successful campaign.

Quite who Rafa is targeting though is unclear.
Lewis Grabban could be a potential option, but no rumours have surfaced yet regarding the Toon’s interest in him.

BETVICTOR, though believe that the 29-year-old could very well be on the Magpies’ radar, and list Newcastle as 6/1 fourth favourites to sign him, behind Wolves at 5/2, and Fulham and Cardiff City at 4/1.
The pacey front-man would definitely provide the Toon with something extra in the final third, but whether he is of the required quality to actually help take them forward as a club is debatable to say the least.
