According to popular bookmakers BETVICTOR, Everton and West Brom have been installed as the joint favourites in the race to sign Paris Saint Germain ace Hatem Ben Arfa this summer.

The Frenchman will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season, with his contract set to expire with the Paris giants.

The 31-year-old moved to the Parc des Princes from Nice in the summer of 2016 on a free transfer, but has made just 32 appearances since then.

Ben Arfa is well known on these shores, after spending time with Newcastle United and Hull City, so a move back to the Premier League would surely be a seamless transition for him.

BETVICTOR believe that England could very well be his next destination and list Everton and West Brom as 8/1 favourites in the race to obtain his signature.

Paris Saint-Germain's French midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa attends a team's training session on November 16, 2017 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, near Paris.

Newcastle are also listed at 8/1, but that is purely because of recent reports linking him with a return to St James’ Park.

Leicester and Crystal Palace can also be backed at 8’s.

Ben Arfa has been extremely inconsistent over the past few years, so signing him would not be without risk, but considering that he is available for free, it might just be one that is worth taking.
