Could the legendary defender join Aston Villa? According to Sky Bet, yes.

Aston Villa have been installed as second favourites to sign John Terry.
Terry’s 22-year Chelsea career will come to an end this summer after being released by the London club.
And the 36-year-old, who won five Premier League titles, is rated as 9/2 by Sky Bet to join up with manager Steve Bruce at Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth (4/6) remain odds-on favourites to bring in the 78-cap England international, while Premier League new boys Brighton & Hove Albion (10/1) and Birmingham City (12/1) sit a little further back in the betting.
Seeing the legendary centre-back turn out for Aston Villa would certainly be interesting, but there is a chance that the odds are merely linked to a photograph.

Last week Terry was snapped alongside the Villa manager on a golf outing – a picture which had fans of the West Midlands club speculating about a possible transfer.
Problem is, Terry would not have posted the photograph on Instagram if it was a business meeting and not merely a friendly game of golf.
The Villans finished 13th in the Championship last season, so they need every bit of quality and experience they can get as the veteran manager – who has four Premier League promotions under his belt – looks to plot another team’s ascent to the big time.
