Arsenal’s youngsters snatched the bragging rights with a convincing victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The Gunners’ Under-18 side beat their North London rivals 4-1.
And it was linked-away Kido Taylor-Hart who scored arguably the pick of the goals for Arsenal, netting on 49 minutes to send the hosts 3-1 ahead.
The 18-year-old found himself in an acre of space down the left-hand side and, despite a poor first touch, cut inside the closest defender and curled home a wonderful effort just after the break.
According to Football.London, a number of Bundesliga and Premier League clubs are interested in signing the teenage attacker and, on the back of this goal, it’s no surprise why.
His future at Arsenal seems unclear, but his talent his obvious and here’s how some fans of the Emirates Stadium club reacted to his goal against Tottenham yesterday:
Taylor-Hart, who has trained with Mikel Arteta’s senior side, still hasn’t been signed up to a professional deal, but you get the impression that his goal against Spurs on Saturday won’t have hurt his chances of earning a first contract at London Colney.
