Some Tottenham fans on social media have been raving over Troy Parrott after his latest performance for MK Dons in the Papa John’s Trophy.
The 19-year-old is out on loan in Milton Keynes this season and while he hasn’t been shining in League One, netting just three goals in 13 games, the Irishman looked brilliant on Tuesday.
Parrott started for the Dons against Aston Villa’s u21s in the cup and it’s fair to say he was fantastic.
He netted the second goal of the game while he could have had a second if his free-kick in the second-half was just a couple of inches lower as he clipped the crossbar.
Parrott’s all-around performance was simply brilliant. He only misplaced five passes, he completed three dribbles and he won an incredible eight duels despite being a striker.
Inevitably, this performance caught the eyes of some Spurs supporters and they were quick to praise the forward on social media.
