Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after hearing Daniel Levy is now eyeing up Gian Piero Gasperini as an option to be their new manager.
The Transfer Window Podcast broke the news of Spurs’ interest in Gasperini, and it seems as though the Italian is keen on joining Spurs, with Duncan Castles claiming that he has ‘reacted positively’ after being told of Tottenham’s interest.
Understandably, Spurs supporters had plenty to say about this news, and it sounds as though Tottenham supporters are quite keen to see him come into north London.
We can absolutely understand why as well, Gasperini plays incredibly attacking football and he’d bring a level of excitement back to Spurs after a rather boring 18 months under Jose Mourinho.
Of course, whether or not Gasperini is appointed remains to be seen, but it seems as though he’d be a welcomed arrival if Levy brought him in from Atalanta.
