Chelsea fans have praised Liverpool forward Sadio Mane for refusing to go down early on in their game last night.
Chelsea ran out 1-0 winners over Liverpool in a game which they largely outperformed Jurgen Klopp’s side.
But things could have been so different if Mane had gone down in the box early on.
The Liverpool striker appeared to be clipped by Andreas Christensen, but he tried to stay on his feet rather than looking for a penalty.
The honest piece of play earned him acclaim on commentary, and Chelsea fans also moved to speak positively about the Liverpool forward.
That incident was actually the only really nervy moment that Christensen had in what was an imperious display.
The Chelsea defender was excellent throughout the game, with Mane and Liverpool’s other forwards failing to have a shot on target until the 80th minute, as Thomas Tuchel extended his unbeaten record in charge of the Blues.
