Footage caught by Sky Sports News cameras at St. George’s Park saw Foden scoring a fantastic goal in training. With the City attacker finishing off a cross with a brilliant overhead kick.
The 21-year-old City star is yet to score for England this year, with Foden’s last goals for Gareth Southgate’s side coming in 2020 in a 4-0 UEFA Nations League win over Iceland.
Indeed, with England facing off against Albania and San Marino over the next few days, Foden has a strong chance of adding to his England tally. And by the looks of it, the City academy graduate is fired up.
Moreover, Foden is one of five City players called up for England this international break. With the likes of Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker joining the winger for the Three Lions upcoming clashes.
Indeed, England look certain to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup this week. And City’s star players have been key to getting Southgate’s side across the line ahead of next year’s tournament.
