Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Le Parisien confirmed that Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga had hired a new agent.
Why are Spurs supporters bothered about this?
Well, the France international was linked with a move to Tottenham back in March, while Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool were also said to be keen according to SPORT.
Even more relevant to Tottenham is the fact that Camavinga has chosen to team up with Jonathan Barnett, who represents Gareth Bale.
Barnett presumably worked closely with Daniel Levy over the summer when negotiating the deal to bring the Wales international back to north London from Real Madrid.
In that respect, a strong relationship between the agent and Tottenham – if there is one – would surely help Spurs in their pursuit of Camavinga.
The 18-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in world football right now.
He already has two caps for France, and also 56 appearances for the Rennes first-team under his belt.
The Miconje-born midfielder is already a mainstay for a Champions League outfit, despite only turning 18 on November 10th.
