Arsenal fans on Twitter have been raving about Eddie Nketiah.

The 21-year-old striker scored a hat-trick for the Gunners in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Charlton Athletic at the Emirates on Saturday.

Here’s what Arsenal fans were saying about their academy product after the game, which ended 6-0.

The next few months could be massive for Nketiah.

Arsenal could lose Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette this summer, both of whom are strikers.

But if Nketiah – who spent the first half of this season on loan at Leeds – has a strong end to the 2019-20 campaign then it may make the North London club think of him as a replacement for Aubameyang or Lacazette rather than spend big on somebody else.

He has started three Premier League games since returning from Elland Road and scored in the 3-2 win over Everton at the Emirates in February.

Nketiah is still very raw, but he’s a huge talent and it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares between now and the end of this season.
