It looks like Arsenal have already made contact with regards to signing one player.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners have touched base with Italian outfit Roma to ask about bringing Patrik Schick to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal might well need at least one top-drawer striker to arrive in North London this summer amid speculation about Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang potentially leaving.
The Czech striker has managed 10 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances for loan side Leipzig so far this season.
Here’s how fans of the North London club reacted to possibly signing the 24-year-old.
If we’re honest, Arsenal are going to need a lot better if it’s Aubameyang who’s going.
There’s a reason why he’s been loaned to Leipzig and it’s because things haven’t worked out for him in Serie A, scoring five times in 46 league outings for Roma.
And Aubameyang hit the 50-goal mark quicker than Thierry Henry did for Arsenal, so that’s the calibre of goalscorer Schick might be asked to be and is he up to the task? Not going by his goals, no.
