Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been full of praise for Oliver Skipp after his performance against Brentford on Thursday evening.
The midfielder started in the heart of the Spurs midfield against the Bees, and it’s fair to say he was excellent against the London club.
He didn’t do anything flash, nor did he grab a goal or an assist, but his all-around play was vital to Spurs keeping a clean sheet and getting this result.
Skipp once again showed his maturity in the middle of the park, he completely understood his task and he stuck to it.
He was making tackles, playing brilliant passes and reading the game as if he was a veteran.
Hopefully, the youngster can build on this performance and become a star under Antonio Conte.
