Raul Jimenez of Wolverhampton Wanderers helped his side into the next round of the Europa League last night.
The Mexican marksman scored a penalty as Wolves beat Olympiacos – who beat Arsenal in a previous round – 1-0 to move into the quarter-final of the competition.
Le10 Sport in France reported a couple of weeks ago that the Gunners were keen on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
And although there hasn’t been much on that front since, speculation about Jimenez’s future is bound to increase the more that he impresses.
So far, the 29-year-old has 27 goals across all competitions for Wanderers this season and, coming into the prime of his career, he could be inundated with offers from bigger clubs.
