Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Danny Ings is certainly picking up where he left off last season.
The Southampton hitman scored 22 Premier League goals for the South-Coast club last time around – four more than Harry Kane – which resulted in speculation that Daniel Levy wants to take him to Spurs.
And the former Liverpool marksman took his tally to three in as many Premier League games for the 2020-21 campaign, after scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory away to Burnley last night.
According to The London Evening Standard last week, Tottenham remain keen on bringing him to North London as a covering option for Kane.
And some neutral fans on Twitter are absolutely raving about the 28-year-old, who joined the Saints for £20 million two years ago.

Is Ings a good cover option for the Lilywhites hitman this season? In a word, absolutely.
Problem is, he’s too good to be a number two and with his injury history, he isn’t going to sacrifice first-team football at Southampton just because Tottenham might be fluttering their eyelashes at him.
In truth, he’d be crazy to accept a role as Kane’s understudy.
