Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to a report that Daniel Ballard is set to be loaned out once again by the club.
Football London claims that the highly-rated Arsenal defender is close to sealing a loan move to the Championship.
It is said that several established second-tier sides are keen on signing the Hale-End academy product.
Ballard was on-loan at Blackpool last season where helped the club earn promotion from League One via the play-offs.
Understandably, Blackpool would also be keen to bring him back, as it would be logical to make that step up with the team he helped return to the Championship.
Whilst Arsenal defenders struggle to establish themselves at the Emirates, slowly but surely, they have a gem working his magic in England’s lower leagues.
If Ballard can continue his rise once again next season then there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be in the first-team, thereafter.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Joe Willock are proof that whilst the club’s senior players struggle, those in the academy are thriving.
And from Arsenal fans perspective, they are hoping that their no-nonsense defender, who also became a Northern Ireland international this season, is the next one on the list to shine and break through.
