Reading fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours that Aston Villa want to sign their highly-rated talent Michael Olise.
The Mirror have claimed that the rising Reading star is on Villa’s wish list, alongside Bournemouth’s David Brooks.
Whilst Villa have a number of top-quality attacking options to choose from, more depth would make them stronger and potentially even more dangerous down the line.
Reading fans joked that they would like Jack Grealish as part of any deal, with the teenage talent likened to the expert ball-carrier.
During Villa’s days in the Championship, they signed Aaron Tshibola, who was a rising talent at Reading, at the time.
His signing didn’t work out and the Reading supporters are reminding the Midlands outfit of how it can end up.
Whilst signings aren’t a must for Villa this month, it doesn’t hurt to add competition and keep those performing players on their toes.
