Liverpool fans have praised the performance of Marko Grujic in their friendly against Red Bull Salzburg.

Liverpool drew 2-2 with Salzburg yesterday, with Grujic coming off the bench to feature.

The Serbian, who is currently playing for his future at Anfield, helped as Liverpool came back from 2-0 down to draw in Austria.

Grujic’s display caught the eye of Liverpool supporters, with some suggesting that he proved why he should be kept around for the campaign.

Grujic has spent the last two seasons away from Liverpool with Hertha Berlin, and his performances in the Bundesliga have been impressive.

Jurgen Klopp now seems willing to take a look at at the 24-year-old before deciding whether to offload him or not.

If Grujic does stick around he could offer Liverpool more depth in midfield, especially now that Adam Lallana has gone.

However, Grujic is a valuable asset, and with Liverpool looking to raise funds it could be deemed that he is worth selling to raise money for potential incoming additions.
