Some Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City fans are absolutely hailing Oliver Skipp on Twitter after his performance on Saturday.
Spurs loaned the 20-year-old midfielder to the Championship side this past summer and Skipp has started every single one of their 26 league games this season.
Despite being so young, the Tottenham gem is already indispensable to a side that sit top of England’s second tier and on course to win Premier League promotion.
He was one of City’s stand-out players again yesterday as Daniel Farke’s side drew 0-0 with Nottingham Forest, who had a man advantage after Emi Buendia’s red card.
Being a defensive midfielder, that dismissal added to Skipp’s workload, but he still won six aerial duels – more than anyone else on the pitch – and three tackles, also winning four fouls.

At 20, Skipp is such a frightening talent and it’s so exciting to see what Jose Mourinho does with him in the summer.
Remember, we’re talking about a player who already has 15 Premier League games under his belt and that was before this character-building spell in the second tier.
When he comes back, Mourinho might just find room for him in the senior squad next season.
