Darren Bent has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is a more complete player than Heung-Min Son on TalkSPORT’s Kick Off.
Kane’s future has been heavily speculated about at Tottenham recently, with Manchester City heavily linked.
However, a supporter of Pep Guardiola’s side rang into the show to say how he would prefer Heung Min-Son to join his side.
The caller claimed that Son was a more well rounded player than Kane.
But Bent quickly swatted aside those suggestions, and said that Kane was definitely the superior player for Tottenham.
“I’m a big fan as well, but if you signed Son would he go into Manchester City’s starting 11,” Bent questioned.
“I think Kane is the best player at Spurs. He walks into City’s team.
“I think he’s a better all round player than Son. I think Son is good, but when you talk about Kane he can do everything.

“This season he has added assists to his game and one thing you want to guarantee when they play centre forward is goals and with Kane he definitely does that.”
Bent’s analysis is hard to argue with for all of Son’s brilliance.
The South Korean may be considered world-class in his own right, but Kane has been Tottenham’s talisman for a number of years now.
Kane is currently enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, and he is one player who Jose Mourinho really does seem to have improved during his time in charge.
Kane continued his red-hot goalscoring form yesterday, as he netted for England in their 2-0 win over Albania.
