Tottenham Hotspur fans have encouraged making a move for Tariq Lamptey of Brighton & Hove Albion, after his performance last night.
Lamptey has broken into Brighton’s first-team recently, and his performance against Liverpool caught the eye yesterday.
The youngster was a real threat going forward, but also looked solid defensively.
And with Tottenham needing a right-back, Lamptey has been suggested as an option for Jose Mourinho by supporters of his side.
Tottenham currently have Serge Aurier as their only real right-back option in their squad.
Aurier has failed to convince defensively this term, even though he has been used regularly by Mourinho.
If Lamptey was to join Tottenham he would arrive still with a point to prove, as he is only just starting out his career.
But he does seem to be a player of real promise, and could make a smart addition to Tottenham’s squad for the years ahead.
