Tottenham Hotspur fans are not pleased that Jose Mourinho plans to start Harry Kane against Dinamo Zagreb tonight.
Mourinho told the club’s official website that Kane was going to feature this evening, despite Tottenham being 2-0 up in the tie.
With Spurs in such a commanding position, many supporters were expecting Mourinho to name a rotated line-up.
However, it seems that the Portuguese boss will be taking no chances.
And Tottenham fans are concerned about Kane being overworked, given his medical history.
The ideal scenario for Mourinho would be for his side to score early, so he could withdraw Kane quickly.
Tottenham do seem to be taking a risk by playing their star man, but Kane is a player who always wants to play in every game.
Kane scored against Zagreb in the first-leg, in a performance which earned him widespread praise, and he will surely be hoping to have a similar impact later.
