Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours that Harry Kane has travelled down the M6 to face Wolves on Sunday.
Sky Sports have reported that Kane could be in line to make his first Spurs appearance of the season this afternoon.
The 2020/21 Golden Boot winner hasn’t featured for Spurs this season, as the fire continues to burn in regards to the striker wanting a move to Manchester City.
It remains to be seen whether that transfer will happen, but Spurs fans made it clear that Kane is simply doing what he is paid to do as he travels with his teammates once again.
Given that Kane hasn’t had any game time, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s not fit enough to start, but surely supporters will see him come off the bench.
Nuno Espirito Santo was riding a wave last Sunday when Spurs beat Manchester City.
But they were quickly brought back down to earth on Thursday after a shock Europa League Conference play-off first-leg defeat in Portugal.
And now Nuno will be hoping to maintain his 100% start in the Premier League on familiar grounds.
If things start to go wrong against Wolves then at least Nuno knows that he can call on his star striker from the bench.
But it will also be interesting to see what type of reception he gets from the travelling away supporters because a lot has been said during these past few weeks.
