Some Leeds fans on social media have been reacting to the news that Tyler Roberts has been sent home from international duty for breaking curfew rules.
The fanbase weren’t too bothered about the actual rule breach, and to be fair, this is a very minor violation, but one thing fans were worried about was how Marcelo Bielsa will react to this.
Bielsa is reportedly a very strict and regimented manager, so hearing that one of his players has been sent home from international duty is bound to rub him up the wrong way, no matter how minor the infringement was.
Whether or not Roberts deserved this level of punishment is a debate for another day, but it has to be said that being sent home from national team duty is never a good look, and Bielsa has every right to be unhappy with this conduct.
Of course, we can’t say for sure how the Leeds boss will react to this, but Leeds fans believe he will be far from happy with Roberts once he returns to Thorp Arch, with one fan even suggesting that he’ll be dropped this weekend.
