Manchester United fans have hailed West Ham United’s Declan Rice after last night’s FA Cup match.
West Ham took on the Red Devils at Old Trafford, and gave a decent account of themselves despite a 1-0 defeat.
David Moyes’s side put up a stubborn defensive resistance, with Rice proving a tough obstacle to pass in the middle of the pitch.
Rice actually didn’t cover himself in glory for the goal which West Ham conceded.
But his classy display still impressed plenty of Manchester United fans, who were raving about his showing on Twitter.
Rice is collecting quite the fan-base now, with his consistently excellent displays this season proving why he is one of the finest defensive midfielders in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old is now playing an important role for both club and country, and he only seems to be getting better.
Rice has been a major reason behind West Ham’s success so far this term, and although last night’s result may not have gone his way, he will surely still be pleased with the account he gave of himself.
