The Brazil international goalkeeper has not had the best of seasons and has made some bad errors at bad times, but against Southampton he was brilliant.
Okay, there was one occasion against Che Adams when the 28-year-old made a mistake, but he quickly recovered.
Liverpool’s defence was far from great, and Alisson had to come to his teammates’ rescue time and time again.
The former AS Roma star denied Adams and Nathan Redmond moments before Liverpool scored their first goal and was a strong presence in the second half as well.
