Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club tweeted photos of Abdoulaye Doucouré back in first-team training at Finch Farm.
Now, this is fantastic news for the Toffees.
The Frenchman hasn’t played since the 1-0 win over West Brom on March 4th, after he suffered an injury to his foot.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Doucouré fractured a bone.
However, the £20 million man is back in action and ready to help the Toffees have a strong end to the Premier League season.
It’s quite evident how dependent Carlo Ancelotti’s side are on the 28-year-old.
Since the aforementioned win at the Hawthorns, Everton have only won one game in eight without Doucouré’s presence in midfield.

That is quite alarming, and just goes to show how vital the former Watford man is to the Toffees.
Despite that dreadful run of form, Everton still have a chance to finish fifth, or maybe even higher if a minor miracle happens and results go their way.
Currently, the Merseysiders sit eighth with 52 points to their name.
Everton are just nine points off Chelsea, who sit fourth.

However, they have a game in hand over the Blues, so that gap could easily be closed to six if the Toffees rediscover their winning ways.
With Doucouré back, anything is possible.
Let’s see how the Everton fans on Twitter reacted to seeing the Frenchman back in training at Finch Farm…
