Marc Albrighton has suggested that Liverpool and Arsenal transfer target, Youri Tielemans, is the best midfielder he has ever played with, as he told talkSPORT.
The Leicester City winger labelled his sought-after star teammate as ‘so talented’ and a player whose ‘professionalism’ rubs off on the younger stars.
Given that Albrighton won the Premier League title in a team that contained N’Golo Kante, he is putting Tielemans’ names in a very high bracket.
But, it shouldn’t be a surprise because some of the bigger boys are seemingly looking to lure the FA Cup winner towards their direction, namely the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, with the latter reportedly leading the race to sign him.
Nonetheless, when talking about Leicester possibly pushing to win the Europa Conference League, Albrighton mentioned some of his side’s key players, before bigging up Tielemans.
“Even players like Youri Tielemans,” said Albrighton. “For me, one of the best midfielders, if not, the best that I have played with.
“He’s so talented. Just to have him around the place. His professionalism I think rubs off on other players as well. The young players see him working and the things he is doing, before and after training.
“People don’t appreciate that as much as they should.”

The issue facing Leicester City, regarding Tielemans’ future, is that they may have to sell him in the summer.
The 24-year-old’s contract in the East Midlands is due to expire in 2023 and there aren’t any signs that he will sign on the dotted line.
If that’s the case, then the Foxes either bite the bullet and risk losing him on a free the following summer, or cash-in on the player during the forthcoming transfer window.
If the Belgian decides to leave, then it will probably be for a club in the Champions League, those in Merseyside can tick that box, whilst Arsenal are hoping they can get over that top-four line in May, so they can lure players of Tielemans’ talents to their club.
