Speaking to SportBible, Phil Foden has been discussing Harry Kane’s quality in England training.
Kane is, of course, one of England’s most important and most talented players, and according to Foden, the Tottenham striker is just on another level entirely.
Indeed, the midfielder says that Kane is the best finisher he’s ever seen, stating that he makes putting the ball in the net look easy and that he can finish on both feet.

Kane the best finisher
Foden hailed Kane.
“Seeing some of the players that I played against and seeing them in training, the quality was unbelievable,” Foden said.
“I just felt lucky to be part of it, such a special team. What we created at the Euros and how together we were, it was good to see.
“Harry Kane’s finishing is the best I’ve ever seen. So to see him up close in front of goal in training, with both feet as well. Unbelievable. He makes it look so easy.
“Sometimes he doesn’t even put power through it, it’s just placement.”
Better than Haaland?
We know that Kane is a ridiculously sharp finisher, but we’re going to have to beg to differ here.
Foden says that Kane is the best finisher he’s ever seen, but surely that award goes to his Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian is dynamite in front of goal, and there’s a reason he leads Kane in the Golden Boot race by such a distance this season.
There may not be a better finisher in world football than Haaland, and while Kane can make a claim to being second best, he’s not quite on Haaland’s level.
