Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow has hailed Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris as one of the best in the world in the Daily Mail.
Darlow has recently come back into Newcastle’s starting line-up, and he has impressed.
The Englishman has been studying techniques of other number ones in the Premier League, and he has suggested that he’s been amazed by Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris, who he considers the best shot-stopper in the league.
“Shot-stopping wise, you look at (Tottenham’s) Hugo Lloris,” Darlow said said. “These guys are the best in the world.
“Ederson’s kicking technique and his driven balls — rather than just a big hoof — are brilliant. The way he does it is unbelievable.”
The praise for Lloris is well merited, as the Tottenham goalkeeper has been in fine form this term.
Since Jose Mourinho came in the Frenchman’s game seems to have gone up a level, and he has been ultra-reliable for Tottenham.

Lloris has been given added competition for his place at Spurs this season following the arrival of Joe Hart, but he has responded to the challenge well, and further cemented his position as Mourinho’s side’s number one.
Tottenham are set to take on Ludogorets in the Europa League this evening, and Lloris may well feature after Mourinho suggested that his side will be at full strength for the fixture.
