Don Hutchison has shared some stunning stats on Twitter to make his point that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world.

The former Liverpool midfielder is a huge fan of the 22-year-old England international right-back.

The BBC and ESPN pundit has used the following stats to make his point about Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold, who has come through the Premier League club’s academy.

Alexander-Arnold is one of the best players in the world and has developed a lot at Liverpool in recent years.

The 22-year-old is defensively very strong and is sensational going on the attack.

The England international has a rather underwhelming spell in the opening months of last season, but he was superb in the second half of the campaign.

Alexander-Arnold is so good that England head coach Gareth Southgate even used him in midfield once.

It is unlikely that Alexander-Arnold will become a midfielder anytime soon, but there is no doubt that the 22-year-old is a world-class right-back.

If Alexander-Arnold the best right-back in the world?

People will have their own opinions about it, but what we cannot deny is that he is world class.
