Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with a number of players already, and John Terry is a big fan of one of the Reds’ reported transfer target.

Liverpool linked with Declan Rice

90min reported in September 2021 that Liverpool want to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United.

The former Premier League champions want to sign the midfielder in the summer of 2022.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are also reportedly keen on 22-year-old, who can play as a defender as well.

John Terry impressed

Rice was in action against Liverpool last night.

The England international helped West Ham to a 3-2 victory over Klopp’s side at London Stadium.

Chelsea legend Terry was following the match, and after the game, he made quite a claim about Rice on Twitter.

Terry said that Rice is the best player in his position in the world.

Declan Rice is a star

Rice has developed into a superb holding midfielder who can also drive forward.

We saw how well the West Ham star combined with Leeds United ace Kalvin Phillips in the middle of the park for England at Euro 2020.

Liverpool do have a strong midfield.

But there is always room for better players.

In our view, Rice would make Liverpool better.

However, it is unlikely that West Ham will sell.

And if the Hammers do sell the midfielder next summer, then they will demand a lot of money.

Probably more than £100 million.

West Ham could finish in the Premier League top four this season and are not struggling for money.
