Jose Enrique has posted on Instagram that it’s ‘the best’ for Leeds United target, Takumi Minamino, to leave Liverpool.
The former left-back thinks Liverpool should ‘cash out’ on the forward they purchased for £8 million in 2019 (Sky Sports).
The Independent have reported that Liverpool have rejected approaches from Leeds and AS Monaco for their player.
With Luis Diaz signed up by the Reds on Sunday, it makes Minamino’s life that bit harder to earn extra game time.
And, as a result, Enrique thinks Minamino should leave Anfield, as he posted in the comments section of Liverpool Goals IG post.
“I think the best for him is to go,” said Enrique. “And for us to cash out on some players, to be honest. But let’s see.”

In truth, Leeds could do with depth across the pitch because it’s well-known that Marcelo Bielsa likes to work with a small squad.
Bielsa’s no-nonsense and ultra-strict methods will never change, but if he wants Minamino at Elland Road, then the club need to pounce for the Japan international.
With Patrick Bamford yet to return from injury, after that unfortunate and quite frustrating setback, Leeds need more goal threat inside the box.
Whilst Minamino doesn’t have the hold-up play in his locker, his movement without the ball and ability to play with speed in the final third is something Leeds could do with.
