Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly close to appointing Ross Wilson.

Tam McManus has claimed on Twitter that Ross Wilson could be Rangers’ best-ever signing.
According to The Record, the Gers are in ‘deep talks’ with the 36-year-old Southampton chief over potentially coming to Ibrox.
Rangers are in the market for a new Director of Football following Mark Allen’s shock exit last month and it seems like Wilson is top of the shortlist in Glasgow.
Wilson got his start in football at Falkirk, where McManus enjoyed two separate stints as a player.
And the BBC pundit believes that it’s very good news if the transfer guru winds up at Rangers.
Here’s how McManus reacted on Twitter to the speculation.
Wilson certainly does have a very impressive CV and this could be a major coup for the Ibrox outfit.
In fact, Rangers reportedly wanted him two-and-a-half years ago, before hiring Allen, and time will tell whether he is worth the wait.
Going by the list of players that he has signed for Southampton, he might just be.
