Everton’s Muhamed Besic celebrates after scoring
Everton defensive midfielder Muhamed Besic has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal that he will be out of action for six months.
The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international will be on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
Besic suffered the injury during Wednesday’s Wayne Rooney testimonial match at Old Trafford.
The former Hamburg and Ferencvaros midfielder has taken to Twitter to state that he is devastated with the seriousness of the injury, with Everton fans responding to his message on the social networking site.

Besic is a talented and promising defensive midfielder, but his career at Everton has been affected by injury problems.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international suffered a hamstring problem last season. That restricted the midfielder to just 12 appearances in the Premier League for the Toffees.
Everton endured a disappointing 2015-16 season and failed to finish inside the top 10.
The Merseyside outfit will take on Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park in their first game of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
Ronald Koeman’s side will be aiming to challenge for a top-six finish in the Premier League this coming season.
