Manchester City playmaker Bersant Celina is weighing up a move to Leeds United, Norwegian outlet NRK report.

Leeds are one of three sides along with Bolton and Ipswich Town who Celina says he could join on loan.

Celina is a bright talent, one who has been unable to make the breakthrough into the Manchester City first team so far.

Speaking to The Independent last year, Celina told how he enjoys learning from City teammate David Silva.

He raved: “I learn just by looking at Silva. The way he plays, the way he passes the ball, how he takes care of it and doesn’t lose it. All the details in his game.”

Fortunately Leeds have a player who is reminiscent of Silva, his former Valencia teammate Pablo Hernandez.

Hernandez had his contract at Leeds renewed last month and is expected to play an integral role for the club this coming campaign.

The 31-year-old managed eight assists last season, and his average of 2.69 chances created per game was the third highest in the Championship.

As Celina looks to get acclimatised further to competitive English football after a year in Holland with FC Twente, the prospect of linking up with Hernandez could sway his mind in picking Leeds as an ideal choice for his next step.
