The Toffees claimed a much-needed win for under-fire Marco Silva at Goodison Park today.

Everton star Bernard has taken to Twitter with a heartfelt message for the Toffees fanbase following their impressive 2-0 Premier League win at Goodison Park today.
The Brazilian was a constant thorn in West Ham’s side and got the crucial opening goal, which went a long way to calming the nerves at Goodison Park given Everton’s poor form going into the game.
Bernard’s effort was very well taken too, connecting with Theo Walcott’s delivery, taking a couple of touches and, just when it looked like the chance had gone, doing superbly to slot home past the opposition goalkeeper.
Following the game, the 27-year-old had the following message for the Toffees faithful, some of whom responded:
Bernard’s goal was the only one all game going into injury time before Gylfi Sigurdsson got the killer second – a superb curling effort after bamboozling an opposition defender – which helped overcome the Hammers and ease the pressure on under-fire Everton boss Marco Silva.
Up next for the Goodison Park side, now 13th in the Premier League table, is the trip to Brighton next Saturday.
